Refund Policy
Overview
QuantTakeOff provides an AI powered construction takeoff service.
When you are entitled to a refund or redo
You may request a refund or a free redo if:
• We fail to deliver the completed takeoff within the agreed timeframe with no prior notice from us.
• The delivered takeoff contains a material error defined as a missing or incorrectly measured element that would materially affect your bid and you notify us within 48 hours of receiving the file.
• The same material error persists after a redo attempt.
Where an error is confirmed, our first remedy will always be to correct and re-deliver the takeoff at no charge. A cash refund will be issued only where a redo cannot resolve the issue or where re-delivery is no longer commercially useful to you.
When refunds do not apply
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
• The takeoff has been delivered and the results have been used in a bid or estimate, in whole or in part.
• The drawing you submitted was illegible, incomplete, or lacked sufficient detail for an accurate takeoff we will flag this before starting work.
• You request a refund more than 48 hours after delivery.
• You change your mind after delivery and the takeoff is accurate.
• The scope of your order changed after submission and the delivered takeoff reflects the original drawing.
We take a strict approach here to protect the integrity of our service.
How to raise a dispute
To raise a refund or redo request, email info@quanttakeoff.com within 48 hours of delivery with:
• Your name and the email address used to submit the drawing.
• The specific elements you believe are missing or incorrect.
• A reference to the relevant drawing sheet or area.
We aim to respond within 2 UK business days. We may ask for clarification before making a determination. Decisions are made at our reasonable discretion based on the evidence provided.
Payment processing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer. We do not charge administration fees for legitimate refund claims.
