Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

QuantTakeOff ("we", "us") is a business We provide construction takeoff services. You send us a drawing, we return a structured list of walls, doors, windows, and spaces with measurements. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

4. How we improve our service using drawings

After we deliver your takeoff, we may use your drawing in de-identified form and the measurements we extracted from it to improve the accuracy of our takeoff work. "De-identified" here means:

— Architect title blocks, firm names, stamps, project numbers, and client names are cropped out before the drawing enters our improvement dataset.

— Extracted measurements (wall lengths, door and window counts, space areas) are retained alongside the cropped plan.

— The original, uncropped drawing is not used for improvement.

This is not true anonymisation.

Floor plan geometry could, in principle, be matched back to a specific property by someone with enough outside information. We treat de-identified drawings as still-sensitive and don't share them outside QuantTakeOff.

How to opt out, at any time:

— Reply "no training" in your email when you send the drawing, or

— Email info@quanttake.com at any time. We will remove your drawings from the improvement dataset and confirm in writing.

Opting out has no effect on the takeoff service, price, or turnaround.

5. NDAs

We will sign an NDA on request before you send the drawing. If we've signed an NDA with you, the NDA terms override this policy where they conflict, and we default to not using your drawings for improvement unless the NDA expressly allows it.

6. Retention

— Original drawings: kept for 90 days after takeoff delivery, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete earlier.

— De-identified drawings and extracted measurements (where not opted out): kept until we no longer need them for service improvement, reviewed annually.

7. Sharing

We do not share or sell any of the data processed.

8. Your rights under UK GDPR

You can ask us to: access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, port it, or withdraw consent. Email info@quanttakeoff.com.

9. Changes

If we materially change how we use drawings — especially §4 — we will email anyone we hold a contact address for before the change takes effect.
